Illa Jean (Logsdon) Cottrill, 74, passed away on Thursday Dec. 19, 2019 in Greenwood, Indiana.
Illa Jean was born June 22, 1945 in Anderson, Indiana to the late Earl and Pearlie (Reynolds) Logsdon.
She married Jay Cottrill in October 1995 in Franklin, Indiana, they were married for 24 years.
Illa Jean was a waitress, working for 17 years for Pizza Hut. Prior to that, she worked at Jerry’s and Big Tom’s Pizza, all in Franklin, Indiana.
She enjoyed softball games and watching her TV shows.
Illa Jean loved her family and her dogs, Griffy, Jack and Baloo and enjoyed spending many happy times with them.
She is survived by her husband, Jay Cottrill of Franklin, children, Randall Allen Hill of Franklin, Terry Lee Hill of Arizona, Scott F. Hill of Arizona, Jayson (Krista) Cottrill of Franklin and Jamie (Darrell) Cottrill of Hope, a sister, Lucinda (Jim) Huff of Rushville, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, James “Jimmy” Logsdon and two sisters, Norma Jean Rodda and Ila Gaye Logsdon.
