Ileta Ruth Bunce, 84, of Anderson, passed away on September 23, 2012 at her residence. She was born on September 15, 1928 in Anderson, and resided all of her life in Anderson.
Ruth graduated from Anderson High School in 1946. She was a homemaker, and later owned and operated Meadowbrook Hardware, was a private bookkeeper, and had worked for the United Faith Housing Harter House. She was a member of Ovid Community Church.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Melanie John York of Anderson, son, Jeffrey Bunce of Chicago, IL, and daughter, Susan Bunce of Indianapolis, 5 granddaughters, Jeannette McMahon, Jocelyn Taylor, Katy Cantwell, Rachel Jones, and Rebecca Long, 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl M. Bunce; father, George W. Givens, mother, Effie Givens, siblings, Roy Givens, Charles Givens, Ida Depew, Eva Kinnard, and Betty Nolan.
