  • Date Of Death: September 13, 2020
  • State: Idaho

IlaMae was born in Murray, Utah, on October 26, 1950. She was the third child of LaMarr and Marian Osborne. She spent the first 13 years of her life in Crescent, Utah, and then the remainder of her youth in Midvale, Utah. She led a very active life, which included being a cheerleader in school.

She met Kenneth Dee Stucki at Brigham Young University. He was her home teacher and she instantly knew he was the one. They were married on April 2, 1971. They were blessed with seven children. She often joked that they got a basketball team and two cheerleaders.

IlaMae’s children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren are her legacy. She lived for them and loved to be with them and show them off.

IlaMae loved the Savior and exemplified the appropriate use of the atonement He made in her life. She loved everyone she came in contact with. She had an innate ability to talk with and help everyone she met feel loved and cherished.  She loved to serve. This was probably her hardest trial later in life as she had very little that she felt she could do secondary to her health. Serving brought her great happiness.

After starting her family, she returned to her dream of becoming a nurse. She went back to school at Ricks College where she earned an Associates Degree and obtained her Registered Nurse, all while supporting a loving husband and raising a small family.

IlaMae loved all creatures great and small and seemed to have some sick or injured animal in the house or stashed in her car that she was nursing back to health every chance she had. She found great joy in seeing these animals return to health and life in general.

IlaMae was a phenomenal baker, canner, and gardener. She wrote several poems, painted, and had a beautiful singing voice. IlaMae was a very happy person, she loved nothing more than to be together with her family. She loved and valued her friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, LaMarr Dansie Osborne.
