Ila May VanSteenkiste, age 66, of Jasper, MI, passed away, March 30, 2016. She was born August 20, 1949, in Jackson, MI, the daughter of Clyde & Beulah (Gelzelman) Dilyard. She is survived by her husband, Albert Eugene VanSteenkiste, Sr., her mother, Beulah Dilyard, her children, Christopher Lee VanSteenkiste, Michael James VanSteenkiste, Albert VanSteenkiste, Jr., her grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew, Anthony and Chante, great grandchildren, Braxton and Uriah, four sisters, Ida Warren, Joy Dilyard, Becky Sweede and Candace Dilyard, her best friends, Pat Paradine and Connie Mattausch, special daughter in law, Jody Mckinney and Pastor Rick Strawcutter. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Roy VanSteenkiste, her father, Clyde Dilyard, two brothers, Jim and Bill and her sister, Donna. Ila was a longtime member of The Church of The Lord Jesus Christ in Adrian, MI, where she served as church secretary for many years.
