Ida Mae Sweet, age 68, of Burlington, passed away suddenly at her home on July 30, 2007. Ida was born in Mt. Holly and she was a long time Burlington resident. She was a retired employee from Arrow International, in Lumberton.
She enjoyed playing cards, going to bingo, and having breakfast with her friends from work. She loved spending quality time with her family and their pets. She was looking forward to seeing her first grandchild, Stephanie, marry her fiancé, Joseph Greenberg, in May of 2008. Ida is survived by her two children, Jenny Trombetti Napier and her husband, Bruce, and Kenneth Trombetti and his wife, Lisa. She was the beloved “Mom Mom” of 6 grandchildren, Stephanie and Bruce Napier, and Tyler, Alexis and Madison Trombetti. Known to her family as “Snookie”, she was the daughter of the late George and Ida Nunn and the sister of the late Barkley and George Nunn, Jr.
She is also survived by her siblings, Alice (Nunn) Palfy, Russell (Linda) Nunn, Robert (Marge) Nunn, Richard (Ann) Nunn, and John Nunn, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
