Ida R. Stefanoni (nee Cucco), 91, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at her residence with her loving family by her side. Born in Sun, West Virginia, she moved to Burlington as a child where she remained a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Wilbur Watts High School, Class of 1942. A longtime and devoted member of St. Paul’s R.C. Church in Burlington, she was an active member of St. Paul’s Altar-Rosary Society, the church’s bereavement committee and St. Paul’s Young at Heart Senior Citizen’s Club.

She also served as a lector and was a Eucharistic minister for many years, serving communion at both Virtua Memorial and Lourdes Willingboro hospitals, as well as to the sick in her parish community. Ida was a devoted and loving, daughter, sister, wife, mother and “Nanny”. Her most precious possession in life was her family. She loved to laugh and dance with her husband, cook delicious meals and desserts for her friends and family, and make frequent trips to Atlantic City. She found joy in the little things, and her special touch influenced the lives of everyone around her.

Ida had a huge capacity to love; she made this world a better place, and she will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Giuseppe and Ambrosina; brother Daniel; sisters Josephine Cucco, Mary Pagano, Yolanda Conti, husband Antonio Francesco and grandson Tony Francesco, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Ralph; her children Anthony Francesco (Veronica), Dee Page (John), and John Stefanoni; her grandchildren: Kristi, Lauren and Dana Stefanoni, Richard Francesco (Jeanette), and Loretta Gregory (Brian); her seven great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; her daughter in law Donna Matthews, her brother in law Ollie Stefanoni; her sisters in law Angie Weidman, Mary Stefanoni and Margaret Stefanoni and her many nieces, nephews and friends.
