Norwich- Ida Dilimetinian, 91, of Midway Pass died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Norwichtown Rehabilitation and Care Center in Norwich.
She was born in Nordo, Italy on August 28, 1921 daughter of the late Enrico and Camilla (Cappola) Marrazzo. Ida worked during World War II with the Italian Army in censorship and received the cross of merit with the official young ladies of Italy during WWII. She was a dietician supervisor at the Norwich State Hospital. Mrs. Dilimetinian was a communicant of Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Norwich. She was multitalented in arts and crafts and loved to share her skills with the Rose City Senior Center with whom she was a member. Ida also volunteered as UCFS and was a life member of the Backus Hospital Auxiliary.
Ida was preceded in death by her two sons Henry and Paul Dilimetinian and her husband Joseph who died in 2005. She is survived by numerous first cousins in Italy.
