Mrs. Ida Mae Jenkins of Tampa, Florida, transitioned to her heavenly home on Saturday, September 4, 2021.

Mrs. Ida Mae Jenkins was 89 years old. She was born on May 28, 1932, in Effingham County, GA.  She relocated to Luray, South Carolina, where she attended the Luray South Carolina school system. She also met and married, her husband, Jeremiah Jenkins who has preceded her in death. Mrs. Jenkins was a resident of Tampa, FL for 65 years, and a retired homemaker.

Mrs. Jenkins was also preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca Hagger; son, Robert Smoak; grandsons: Franklin R. Smoak and Leonard Johnson; sisters: Emma Curry, Martha (Lovewell) Roberts, Lily Mae Roberts, and Katherine Davis; brother: John (Lillie Mae) Lewis; brothers and sister-in-law, Andrew (Lena) Jenkins and Bennie Jenkins Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories with a loving and devoted son, Keith B. Jenkins Sr. (Mary); a special granddaughter, Kedracia Jenkins; a special grandson, Douglas ‘Greg” Smoak; a loving and adorable great-granddaughter, Kennedi Malone; sister, Dorothy B. Sims (Charlie); brother, Willie Lewis; grandchildren: Nyeisha Sessions, Keith Jenkins Jr. (Latonya), Keyona Williams (Justin), D. Angelo Jenkins, Robert L. Smoak Jr. (Benita), Scotia SC., Carmella Deloach (Jermain), Luray SC.,  Hadease C. Smoak (Kaleena), Estill SC., Nathaniel D. Smoak (Shaquetta) Fairfax SC., Evelyn M. Wilson (Andre) Rivers Hill, SC., Jerimie A. Smoak Luray SC., Wayne Shine Sr, Nicole Goode (Victor Sr.), Roland Oliver Jr., Jonathan Oliver, Eugene J. Welch Sr., Curran Lane Jr. (Alexis); niece, Adlai Jenkins; nephews, Tomickey Jenkins and Bennie L. Jenkins Jr.;  daughter in law, Evelyn J. Smoak; a special friend Darlene Green, and a host of other sorrowing great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
