She was preceded in death by her mother, Robbie Gordon, father, Roosevelt Gordon; one stepson: Clifton Spears, three sisters Charity Keeton, Annie L. Moss, and Ella Pearl Horn, one great grandson, Andrew Curtis Jr.; two loving friends Mamie Holcombe and Lela Harbin.
Ida Mae leaves to cherish her memories three children: Rosie R (Lee-James) Edwards Jr., Lisman, Alabama; Leon (Sharon) Ruffin, Cleveland, Ohio; Linda F (Orlando) Office, Lisman, Alabama; seven grandchildren: Lee J. Edwards III, Rodrick C. Office, Robyn L. Edwards, Terry Spears, Etta (Andrew) Curtis, Clifton (Tracy) Spears, Demothenese (Caretta) Spears; nine great grandchildren: Aalliyah, Gabriel, Brenden, and Kelahnni Edwards, Johnkavean and Jadarrian Mosley, Torey Ruffin, Mataviun Land, Darielle Spears; one daughter-in-law: Hazel Spears, Lisman, Alabama; one sister Georgia M. McRae, Yantley, Alabama; two brothers: R.D. Straggling, Ohio, Johnnie (Prentella) Graham, Riderwood, Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
