She used that craft to create most of the Sunday “Church going attire” that her and her mother adorned with pride. She was also employed at the Caroline County Senior Center in Denton, MD for many years until she retired to enjoy life driving around her sister Sarah and anyone else brave enough to ride with her all around Denton.

Ella Milligan, Elizabeth Jackson and Melvina Murray as well as her brothers; James, Thomas “Tit”, William and Alfred Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memory one sister, Sarah Staten of Denton, MD and one Sister-n-law, Alice Brown of Denton, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
