Ida Hawls Edwards, 68, of Goldsboro passed away Monday at Wayne UNC Hospital. She was born in Wayne County to the late Stanley and Dorothy Tucker. Ida loved to go to the beach fishing and living life to the fullest.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by her daughters, Alice Kay Martinez and husband, Steven of Mt. Olive and Dorothy White and husband Dewayne of Goldsboro; brothers, Curly Tucker and wife, Wanda of Lucama, Johnny Tucker of Pikeville, David Earl Tucker of Lucama Jimmy Tucker and wife, Rita of Lucama, Paul Tucker of Lucama, Eddie Gray of Snow Hill, Peanut Tucker and wife, Donna Jean of Lucama, and Ray Amerson and wife, Jackie of Lucama; sisters, Ann Bennette of Goldsboro and Mary Hare of Goldsboro; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
