Ian Hineman, 17, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2008 in Kalispell, Montana. He was born on October 31, 1991 in Tucson, Arizona the son of Scott Joseph and Jane Lou (Miller) Hineman.
He attended schools at Cayuse Prairie through the eighth grade and ninth grade at Kalispell Junior High and was currently a junior at Flathead High School. He has been an active golfer since he was very young and has been a member of Buffalo Hill Country Club since he was five years old. He was a member of the Flathead High School Golf Team and lettered as both a sophomore and a junior.
He also was an active downhill skier, loved movies and was quite a movie critic. He was a pool shark as well and would take on anyone. He enjoyed traveling and had been all over the country; New York City where he and his family had been to the World trade Center one month before 9/11. They also enjoyed trips to Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. and many other family trips.
He loved fine dining and was a big fan of the escargot at Whitefish Country Club and said it was the best!
He was a member of Buffalo Hill Country Club as well as Whitefish Country Club.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Herman Miller and paternal grandfather Norman J. Hineman.
He is survived by his parents; Scott and Jane Hineman of Kalispell, MT and his brother Ben Hineman of Whitefish, MT; his grandmothers, Eva Jean Miller of Ripley, W. Virginia and Lori Hineman of Indianapolis, IN and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends.
