Huong T. Ngo
Huong T Ngo, a loving mother and grandmother and longtime resident of Roy, UT, died unexpectedly on April 30, 2016 at the age of 67.
Huong is survived by her husband Phen Ngo and her children; Thuy Ngo, Hoa Ngo and spouse Sunnilee, Bryan Ngo and spouse Shannon, Sang Ngo; as well as twelve grandchildren.
Huong was born in Rach Gia, Vietnam on August 26, 1948 to the late Cong Tran and Ba Lam. She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Vinh Ngo, who passed away as a child. She married Phen in 1965.
Huong was a devoted mother and wife. She emigrated from Vietnam with her young family at the end of the war to give them the opportunity for freedom, education and a better quality of life; she willingly risked her life to do so. She worked hard all her life from age twelve until the day she passed. She always put the needs of her family before her own, sacrificing much so her family wouldn’t be burdened even in the event of her death. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and cooking. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
A viewing in her honor is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 7th at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy.
