Hugo Merino Torres, 58, of Keyport, New Jersey, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel. Hugo was born on April 1, 1963 in Oaxaca, Mexico, where he was raised. As a teenager in 1978, he moved from Mexico to California and in 1986, settled in New Jersey, where he lived in Middletown before settling in Keyport. For many years, Hugo has worked for Hensync Inc. as a handyman.
He was predeceased by his parents, Reynaldo and Lucia (Torres) Merino. Hugo is survived by his beloved wife, Margarita Lopez, his loving children, Concepcion Merino of Keyport, Reynaldo Merino of Keyport, Nicole Merino of Keyport, Evelyn Merino of Keyport, Elvia Luz Merino of California, Miguel Angel Hernandez, and his cherished grandchildren, Isaiah Rivera, Daleyza Rivera, and Davian Aguilar. Hugo will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
