Grandfather and Great-grandfather
Life-long resident of St. Paul. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 12, 2014. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Marion Cosgrove and sister, Helen Fiefarek.
Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jacquelone; children, Steven (Anne), Patricia Cosgrove (John Nepote), Greg (Patti), Dave (Debi); grandchildren, Sara, Sean, Bobby, Meghan, Danny, Molly, Katie, Kelly, Lauren, Alex and John; 4 great-grandchildren. Loving brother to Pat Salisbury, Ann Gjere, Agnes Smith, Sharon Cosgrove, Tim Cosgrove, Roberta Barger, Sheila Pedersen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Hugh J. Cosgrove, co-founded several law firms, including Cosgrove, Flynn & Gaskins, from which he retired in 1997. Hugh loved his family and all children’s & grandchildren’s activities. He attended the U of M and graduated from William Mitchell Law School and was one of William Mitchell’s 100 Who Made a Difference.
