Hugh Garlon Brewer was born on Sept. 9, 1955 to parents Garlon and Ondie Brewer. He graduated from Mary G. Montgomery High School and was employed by Scott Paper Co. for 27 years.
Hugh departed this life for his eternal home on Jan. 31, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Della Gordon Brewer, daughter Kara (John) Nicholas and son Brandon (Nicole) Brewer. He was a loving and devoted Poppy to his grandchildren, Emmy, Grey, and Evey Nicholas and was welcomed to heaven by grandson, Hudson Brewer. He is also survived by his father, Garlon Brewer, a sister, Kathy (Jimmy) Vance, niece Angie Vance and many other family and friends.
