Hugh Clark Coy, 87, of Greensburg, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013, at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg.
He was born on May 10, 1925, in Greensburg, the son of Leonard E. and Gertrude (Clark) Coy. He graduated from Sandusky High School in 1943. He then served in the Army in WW II. He was a farmer. He was a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Adams and was a former volunteer fireman.
He was married to Mary K. Holder on August 21, 1949, and she preceded him in death on February 27, 2008. He is survived by one daughter, Linda (Paul) Hardebeck with grandchildren, Laura and Brian (Samantha), all of Batesville; two sons, Jim (Jeanie) Coy with grandchildren, Paige and Abby, all of Greensburg, and Brian (Debbie) Coy with grandchildren, Brennan and Brayden, all of Greensburg; one sister, Martha Jean Cartier, Greensburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and one sister, Letha Lorine DeLay.
