Hugh A. Kennedy, Jr., 84 of Ashlar VIllage, Wallingford, formerly of Orange died Sept. 10, 2012. He is survived by his wife Elaine Lenzi Kennedy, children Dr. Hugh (Amy) Kennedy, III of Bloomfield, Patrice (Lou) Errico of North Haven, Carol (Roger) Lange of Wallingford & Greg Kennedy of Orange, a brother Robert Kennedy of Oklahoma City, grandchildren Kristen, Meaghan & Brittney Kennedy, Carolyn & Christine Warner, Jennifer & Justin Lange. He was born Dec. 30, 1927, son of the late Hugh & Julia Vandermalen Kennedy, Sr. .Hugh graduated Hillhouse H.S., attended the Williston Academy and received his B.S. degree in Economics from Yale University in 1953. He retired from U.S. Industries of NYC and had previously been employed at Winchester Western of New Haven. He was a WW II Army Veteran. Hugh was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. His passion was his family. He loved attending all sporting events with his children and grandchildren and was an avid Mets and Giant fan.
