Hozie A. Pinkerman, age 61, of Medaryville, Indiana passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017, at the Rensselaer Care Center, Rensselaer, Indiana.
Hozie was born in Chicago on July 30, 1955, the son of Dillard C. and Ruby Lucille (Meadows) Pinkerman. Hozie received his GED in 2001. He was most recently employed at Vanguard National Trailer Corporation. He was a member of American Legion Post #29,in Rensselaer. Hozie enjoyed playing pool and poker. His greatest joy was time spent with his family.
Surviving are three daughters, Lisa Hurley, Angela (Nathan) Hornbeck and Jennifer Benton, all of Rensselaer, Indiana; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters, Terrie (Ora) Calvert of Francesville, Indiana and Susan Robbins of Medaryville, Indiana, and a brother, Mike Pinkerman of Rensselaer, Indiana.
Hozie was preceded in death by his parents Dillard and Ruby, and two brothers Jack and Raymond.
