Jack Myers, 88, of Boerne, Texas passed away on March 20, 2022.

Jack Myers was born April 20, 1933, in Lubbock, Texas to Johnnie Myers and Amelia Phillips. Jack was good at many things. He was a talented gunsmith and woodworker, building many firearms and grandfather clocks. He always provided a helping hand to those in need. He was a dog lover, rescuing many that were abandoned on the side of the road. He regarded them as the most loyal friends that one could have near. He served in the military teaching the enlisted how to shoot a firearm with precision. After his military service, he took to driving a semi-trailer and truck across the USA, loving every mile of it. After he retired and married his wife Winnie, they took to the road, pulling their RV behind them. They have many fond memories of their travels together seeing the many state parks, museums, and small towns.

He is survived by his wife, Winnie Myers; his son, Brian W. (Juanita Bedolla) Myers; his daughter, Cheryl (Steven) Kotzur; his grandchildren, Denae A. Myers, Matthew (Melanie) Kotzur, Holli (Cory) Poe, and Marcus A. Myers; his great-grandchildren, Zoe L. Myers, Maxston Kotzur, Jayce and Maiya Poe, and Jaxson Myers; Winnie’s children, Carol (Steve) Pariseau, Ken (Barbie) Lawrence, Holly (Terre) Davila, and Chuck Lawrence, as well as Winnie’s numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his brother John J. Myers. He is also survived by his small dog, Honey, who always sat in his lap.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie Myers and Amelia (Jackie) Phillips, and his brother, Donnie Phillips.
