Howard W. Clark, 96, of Boise, passed away March 1, 2021, at his home, with his wife by his side. He was under the care of St. Luke’s Hospice.
Howard W. Clark was born in Grand Junction, Colorado, on January 12, 1925, to Howard W. Clark Sr. And Flora Schwartz Clark. They were later divorced. Howard and his mother moved to Idaho when he was about five years of age, to be near her family. Later on, Howard’s mother met Roland Coburn and they were married in St. Anthony, Idaho. They moved to a farm in the Lamont, Idaho, area, where they lived during the depression. Later moving to a farm near St. Anthony, Idaho. Howard has two sisters, Louise Newman, of Idaho Falls, and Ruth Mains, of Shelley.
Howard graduated from St. Anthony High School and volunteered in the U.S. Navy, where he served during World War II. Upon his discharge, he was employed as a Commercial Charter Pilot, flight instructor and as a crop duster.
Howard enjoyed wood working, lapidary, and photography.
Howard is survived by his loving wife, Marlene Clark of Boise, ID; daughters, Janet Clark of Boise, ID, and Tauna (Jim) Davidson of Sequim, WA; son, Dr. Clinton (Shelly Orme) Clark of Boise, ID; sister, Louise Newman of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Ruth Maine of Shelley, ID; 4 grandchildren, Brian Davidson, Travis Davidson, Tyler Clark and Olivia Clark; and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Flora Clark.
