Howard “Rick” Allen, Jr., age 66, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta surrounded by family and friends. He was born October 28, 1949 in Atlanta to Howard Sr. and Jean Allen. Rick is preceded in death by his grandparents, father and in-laws. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy Reeves Allen and his daughters Lisa Michelle Melton and her husband Nicholas and Julie Allen Winkler and her husband B.J. He is also survived by grand children Austin and Jacob Melton and Trent Winkler. Also surviving Rick is his mother Jean Wilson, his siblings, Sheryl Thompson, Russell Allen and his wife Sue and Tammy Edwards and her husband Scott and numerous nieces and nephews.
