Howard Roy Clark, 86 years old, resident of S. Windsor and formerly of Trumbull and beloved husband to the late Jean Searles Clark, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 20, 2011.    Born in Cambridge, VT on April 20, 1925, he was the son of the late Guy William and Theresa Kendall Clark.  Howard served with pride and honor in the US Navy during WWII  aboard the USS Lindsey minelayer in the Pacific.  He was the owner of Center Auto Supply for thirty years prior to his retirement.  Howard was a devoted member of the Masons having served as past potentate, a 33º Mason, and past director of the Royal Order of Jesters.  Also he was a member of the Scottish Rite Lafayette Consistory and the York Rite Hamilton #5, Washington Lodge in Monroe, a dedicated member of the Pyramid Shriners and served proudly as a past board member for the Shriners Hospital for Children.  

He is survived by his children, James Clark and his wife Mami of Japan, Robert Clark and his wife Cathy of NH and Carolyn Marino and her husband Sebastian of East Hartford, CT., seven beloved grandchildren, Rob, Stephanie, James, Nick, Cara, Maika and Erica, two great grandchildren, Yandel and Gianna Rose and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Howard’s extended family of caregivers, Lucy, Patrick, Lori, Kelci, Annette and many others, for their dedication, loving care and compassion.
