Howard J “Buck” Phillips, 86, Lost Creek, passed away Friday, April 6, 2012 at his home. He was born September 1, 1926 in Pine Bluff, WV, the son of the late Ivan and Mabel Phillips. Howard is survived by his wife, Ruby Deloris Kirk Phillips, whom he married on June 30, 1989. Along with his wife, he is survived by several nieces and nephews; a special friend, neighbor and caregiver Ruth Jenkins. In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman and Carl Phillips; one sister, Dorothy Phillips. Howard served in the Army during the Korean conflict. He was retired from Pittsburgh Plate Glass. He was a member of the Clarksburg VFW Post 573 and the Lost Creek Church of God. Howard’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Tish and Danielle of Amedisys Hospice of Anmoore for their loving care.
