Howard Halley, 87. of Columbia, formerly of Moberly, died Thursday July 12, 2018 at The Columbia Post Acute Facility, Columbia, Missouri. He was born July 27, 1930 in Macon County, MO to William and Hattie (Sexton) Halley.

Mr. Halley served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and had received an honorable discharge. He was a supervisor, associated with Union Electric/Ameren for 44 years, at the time of his retirement.

He married Bessie Mitchell on September 24, 1950 in Moberly and she proceeded him in death April 29. 2018. Also proceeding him in death were his parents, a daughter Karen, six brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include his son, Kevin Halley of Columbia, two granddaughters Jacqueline Viliocco and her husband Tony, Jessica Miller and her husband Brenden, two sisters Barbara Hanks of the state of North Carolina and Faye Schroeder of the state of Iowa, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
