Howard H. Baird, age 85, of Orange, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2014. He was born in Milford, CT where he was a life-long resident and the beloved husband for fifty-six years to the late Barbara E. Baird. Howard was the son of the late Charles and Martha Baird. He was predeceased by three brothers, Charles, Ernest, and Clinton and is survived by his sister Martha Gorman. Howard is also survived by his four children, Howard H. Baird, Jr. and his wife, Janette, Jeffery A. Baird and his wife Rosina, Bonnie L. Foley, and Lisa A. Baird as well as eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Howard was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be forever missed. Those who knew him will remember his kind and gentle spirit and his unending humor. Others knew him as the owner and operator of Baird & Sons Plumbing & Heating. The family would also like to thank CT Hospice in Branford for their compassion and dedication during his brief stay.
