MENDON- Howard F. Phipps, 79, of Mendon, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the Countryside Healthcare in Milford after a period of declining health. He was the husband of Peggy A. (Rodwill) Phipps.
Born in Milford, he was the son of the late Wilbur Francis and Mabel (Young) Phipps. He was educated in Mendon schools and was a graduate of Mendon High School. Following graduation he served with the United States Navy.
In addition to his wife of 57 years, he is survived by four children, Joyce J. Phipps of Mendon, Howard F. “Butch” Phipps, Jr., and his wife, Dolly, of Mendon, Charlie V. Phipps and his wife, Debra, of Mendon and Joseph T.
