Howard Clinton Welling, 77, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 in Alamogordo. He was born on July 8, 1930 to Lily Mae Malone.
Survivors include, daughters, Colleen Welling, Sandy Welling Berry and her husband Mike Berry, and Maria Borodko and husband Lucio Vazquez all of Alamogordo, Ramona Vallejos of Albuquerque, and Laurie Gutierrez and husband Art of Arizona; sons, Tim Mason of Las Cruces, Ralph Sanchez and wife Jan of El Paso, and Johnny Vallegos and wife Vicki of Tularosa; brother, Richard Welling and wife Toni of Baltimore; nineteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Val Guiterrez and husband Fred, Frances Phillips and husband Kevin and Petra Golightly; cousin, Ida Pena; sister-in-law, Betty Lamp and husband Irving; and numerous nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Michael H. and seven brothers and sisters.
A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
