Hortense Kabel, 89, of Middletown, devoted wife and partner to the late Jerome Kabel for 63 years, passed away August 20, 2016 at Middlesex Hospital Hospice. Born in Yonkers, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Celia (Friedman) Rosenberg and had lived in Middletown for 65 years. Hortie was a member of Adath Israel Synagogue, owner of Kabels Luggage and Gift Shop Inc.
