Our precious Mother, Hortense Elizabeth Bryant Thompson, turned 93 when the good Lord came and took her on November 30, 2004, at Sycamore Hospital-Miamisburg, Ohio. She was born November 7, 1911, in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Dayton, Ohio.
She lived in Anderson all of her life, moving to Dayton, Ohio eight years ago. She had a very full life which included running Thompson’s Grocery and retiring in Florida. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she was in several Ladies’ organizations and other community organizations.
Leaving behind on her quest to heaven are the following family members including her two sons: Robert A. & wife Doris Thompson of Asheville, North Carolina. Frank V. & wife Constance Thompson of Ft. Wayne. Four Daughters: Lois & husband Howard Ehle of Mooresville. Janice & husband Bob Morris of Dayton, Ohio. Claudia Morrell of Lenexa, Kansas. Carol Ann & husband Frank Easel of San Juan Capistrano, California. Brother: John Bryant of Anderson. Twenty-Five Grandchildren: Alice Steve DeHoff, Nancy Art Avila, Sherry Darrell Brown, Shirley Jeff Weedling, Birdella Daniel Boone, John Ehle, Robin Randy DaVee, Scott Lori Ehle, Debra Gene Szynask, Shirley Kenneth Ellington, Kenneth Mindy Thompson, Craig Thompson, Constance Greg Wilbanks, Cynthia Dan Herr, Kelly White, Sandra Timothy Staten, Ronda William Spriggs, Jay Morris, Kelly Thomas Vanckrgraff, James Jaime Morris, Nobel Joann Morrell, Mathew Morrell, Frank Fasel, Thomas Fasel, and Katherine Fasel. 51 Great Grandchildren and Eight Great Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
