Horace Lanier Turner, 85, of Newnan, Georgia passed away Saturday March 17, 2018 at his home. Horace was the only son of six children to the late Clinton and Willie Mae Thompson Turner.
In addition to his parents, Horace is preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn Olmstead, Eleanor Alexander, Geneva McKenzie and Mary-Lee Jordan. Surviving Horace is son; Chris Turner and fiancé Denese Bohannon, Daughter; Hilarie Noles and fiancé Dean Carter, grandchildren; Chasity Leigh (Phillip) Gaynor, Chase Turner, Austin Turner, Madisyn Leake, Lundyn Stroud and Neely Noles, great grandchildren; Bristol Marie Gaynor and Madison Gaynor; sister, Patricia Phillips.
Horace was born and raised in Newnan, Georgia. Horace worked for over 35 years as a salesman in the Pawn shop industry, served in the U.S. Air Force and was in law enforcement for a time.
