Horace “Bill” MyHill, Jr., 66, of Bristol, beloved husband of Elaine (Nietupski) MyHill, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2010, at Bristol Hospital.
He was born November 19, 1943 in Springfield, MA, son of the late Horace and Carline (Flinn) MyHill, Sr. A resident of Bristol most of his life, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Bill was employed at the former O.Z. Gedney Company in Terryville for many years until his retirement.
Besides his wife, Elaine, he is survived by his two children, William MyHill of Bellingham, MA and Carlene Watts of Pawtucket, RI; his two step-children, Jay Palance of Bristol and Jackie Palance of Plainville; several grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Shirley MyHill.
