Hilda Jane Lute, 77, of Madison, MO passed away November 28, 2016. She was born March 4, 1939 in Madison, MO to the late Shirley Clyde and Martha (Johnson) Smith.
After the children were raised Hilda owned and operated a restaurant and had worked at Dura and MACC.
Hilda married Norman Duane Lute, Sr. on August 16, 1957 in Moberly, MO and he survives of the home. Also surviving are her children; Norman Lute, Jr. of Madison, MO, Monica Linebaugh and husband Bruce of Marceline, MO, Barbara Rifenburg and husband David of Grain Valley, MO, Harvey Lute and wife Denise, Rose Driver all of Madison, MO and Jon Lute and wife Tammy of Pea Ridge, AR, 19 grandchildren, 23 great- grandchildren, two brothers, Jarold Smith of River Ridge, LA and William Smith of Springfield, IL, two sisters, Shirley Gravitt of Santa Fe, TX and Mert Chism of Clark, MO, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Hilda was one who never knew a stranger; she loved to share stories and hold hands with her beloved husband. Hilda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, who was loved and will be deeply missed.
