Hilda Whitley Godwin, age 83 of Cropwell, AL passed away on October 19, 2009. She was a longtime member of West Woodlawn United Methodist Church and is currently a member of First United Methodist Church of Pell City. She is survived by her husband, John W. Godwin; children, John A. Godwin, Cathy G. Lee (Butch), David Godwin (Laura), Phyllis Chapman (Leon), and Donna Jo Godwin; sisters, Rena Hudson, Beulah Holmes, and Anne Gable; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
