Hilda A. (Sheltra) Jaeger, 94, of Newington, died peacefully on Sunday, July 17, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Hans Frank Jaeger. Born in Montgomery Center, VT, she was a Newington resident for the past 60 years. Mrs. Jaeger had been a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit and its Ladies Guild. She was formerly employed by Dakille Studios and retired from Loring Studios after many years of employment. Throughout the years, she enjoyed playing bingo. Loving and devoted to her family, she leaves six children, Sharon Endy and her husband Michael of Tolland, Patricia Jaeger and Gary Fox of Cheshire, Pamela Giarratana of Kensington, John Jaeger of Southwick, MA, Heidi Jameson and her husband Gary, and Mark Jaeger and his wife Lynda, all of Newington; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her son Stephen Jaeger and her son-in-law Carmen Giarratana.
