Hideo Poindexter, age 52 of Caldwell, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011.
Hideo was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to George and Akiyo Poindexter. He entered the United States Army in 1980 and served as an Emergency Medical Technician. While serving his country, Hideo was awarded several decorations, medals and ribbons. He retired as a First Sergeant at Fort Riley, Kansas in September of 2000.
