DURHAM Mr. Hickmon “Jay” Churchill, Jr., 66, of Durham, died on Wednesday, August 31, . Churchill was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Hickmon Odell Churchill Sr. and Nannie Mae Goodwin. He attended Grove Park Chapel. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward, Percy, Willie and Duke Churchill and one sister, Azeline is survived by his wife, Lorraine Churchill; one daughter, Debra Chase and husband, Rodney of Rougemont and one grandchild, Ashley Nicole Chase.
