Mr. Hiawatha Hinnant Jr., son of the late Jack Bunn and Beatrice Edmundson Hinnant was born February 24, 1950. He departed this earthly life on October 30, 2013.
Hiawatha received his formal education in the Wayne County Public Schools. Following his graduation from high school, he joined the Masonic Lodge where he served as a faithful member for years.
Hiawatha was preceded in death by one brother, Theodore Hinnant and two sisters, Minnie Hinnant Barnes and Bettie Bunn Atkins.
Hiawatha leaves to cherish his memories fours sisters; Jennie Mae Weaver (James) of Smithfield NC, Bernice Gail Welch (Carol) of Goldsboro NC, Naomi and Susan Bunn both of Newark NJ, two brothers; Clarence Ray Hinnant of Smithfield NC and Jack Bunn Jr. (Debbie) of Wilson, NC; several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
