Yorktown-Hester Conatser passed away early Sunday morning, March 18, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born on, January 15, 1934, in Jamestown, Tennessee, the daughter of Carson and Beuna (Hinds) Millsap.
Hester eventually married the love of her life, Willard “Bill” E. Conatser in 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1981 . Mrs. Conatser had worked for the 3M Corporation as a line worker and later in the shipping department for 40 years retiring in 1997.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Hughes (husband-Virgil), Muncie and Kay Stafford (husband- Eddie), Washington, Indiana; one son Gary Conatser (wife-Cristina), Yorktown; thirteen grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; four great , great grandchildren with five to be born this summer. She has 49 people that are part of her cherished legacy; several nieces and nephews as well.
Besides her husband of 33 years, Bill, she is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Hurley Buck, J.C. Hinds and John Hinds.
