Hesper C. Folger, 98, of New Carlisle, Indiana passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Hesper was born on November 14, 1923 in Fairfield, IL to the late Charles H. and Cora E. (Pike) Walker. On January 8, 1942 she married Arthur E. Folger who preceded her in death on June 7, 2009. She was also preceded in death by one son, Charles Folger, one daughter in law, Zelma Folger, five sisters, Edna Legg, Louise Legg, Gladys Windland, Fern Matthews, and Frances White, three brothers, Theron, Clyde and Joe. She is survived by one daughter, Deborah (David) Gondocs of New Carlisle, Indiana, one son, Bob L. (Jeannine) Folger of Magnolia, TX, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, fourteen great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Hesper was a priest in her church where she was very active. She was a former Fire Leader and worked in youth camps both Fire scouts and church for many years. She enjoyed seeing her girls grow into professional women. She was a naturalist for many years at Rum Village as well.
