Hermoine “Kay” Fields, 75, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at her home.
She was born on November 7, 1938 to Herman and Grace (Waskom) Baker in Bedford, Indiana. Kay graduated from Eaton High School in 1956, the University of Saint Francis, and married Robert Fields on March 2, 1962.
Kay worked at Marhoffer’s, Ross Pharmacy and St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis, where she worked as a Surgical Technician. In 1974, she started the girls’ softball league in Royerton, Indiana, and coached several teams for many years. Kay was also a member of Eastern Star, the Blackford County Home Ec.
