Herman F. Beckmann Jr. 86 of Universal passed away at 8:50pm on Dec 8, 2012 in
the Vermillion Convelescent Center. He was born on April 16, 1926 in Terre Haute
to Herman F. Beckmann Sr. and Opal Kennedy Beckmann. He served in the US
Navy during WWII. He was a Print Press Operator for Standard Register. He was
Legion #328.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Louise Beckmann on April 30, 2001,
a brother Richard D. Beckman and a sister Loretta Kerstein.
He is survived by his daughters Sherry Beckmann of Terre Haute and Cheryl & Neal
Woodard of Hillsdale. 5 grandchildren; Nicholas Woodard, Caleb Woodard and
Alisha Woodard all of Hillsdale, D.J. Overbey and Bryan Overbey both of
Indianapolis. And a sister Louise Sweppy of Princeton.
