After serving in the Korean War he married his wife of 50 years, Patricia Ann Szymanski. Along with his wife, he is survived by a brother Edward; 3 sisters: Anna, Ruth, and Evelyn; three sons; Scott, Jeffery, Mark; and 8 grandchildren: Nicholas, Michael, Matthew, Shaun, Hayley, Meghan, Zachery and Tyler.
