SALEM – Herbert R. Bott, age 83, died at 4:55 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the Salem Regional Medical Center. He was born January 30, 1935 in East Palestine, the son of William and Mollie (Justison) Bott.

Herbert was employed as a welder at Youngstown Steel Door, a graduate of New Waterford High School and a member of Damascus Friends Church. His passion was working in his garden and loved his zero turn mower. He loved his family and enjoyed having breakfast with the guys at McDonalds. Herbert was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce E. (Leach) Bott, whom he married May 17, 1963; two daughters, Lori Bott of Cleveland and Wendy Bott of Pittsburgh, PA; two sisters, Helen (Don) Gormley of Columbiana and Joyce (Roy) Garman of Hartville and a brother Karl (Judy) Bott of Columbiana.

Preceding him in death were three sisters, Ruth Bott, Pauline Ellebracht and Mary Dickey and three brothers, Robert, Bruce and Eldon Bott.
