Herbert K. Shay, III, “Chip”, age 55 of Fairfield passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in his home. Born in Bridgeport, Chip had been a lifelong Fairfield resident. He was a graduate of Andrew Warde High School class of 1981. Chip was the owner and operator of H.K. Shay Trucking. He loved fishing, trucks, especially his Peterbilt, and animals of all kinds including his four beloved cats. Chip was an all around nice guy, respected by his family and many friends.
