Mr. Herbert was born January 18, 1950 in Winnsboro, LA and passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022 in Delhi, LA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Aline Parker.
Survivors include the mother of his children, Diane Parker Cuiffo; children, Shari Smith and husband, Ricky, Stacy Sikes and husband, Sean, Craig Parker, Wayne Parker, and Deni Boykin and husband, Josh; live in grandson, Frankie Wilson and fiancée, Kevina; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his brothers, Lonnie Parker and wife, Patricia and Charles Parker and wife, Kathleen; and his sister, Lucille Rhoads.
Herbert resided at Huckleberry Acres in Holly Ridge, LA. He retired from a career in Commercial and Residential Heating & Cooling. For the past few years, he was an instructor at Delta Community College where he taught HVAC. He enjoyed teaching those that wanted to learn.
There are many things that Herbert accomplished in his lifetime, but the most important of them all was the love that he showed his family and friends. He leaves us with a great legacy that some families never get to experience with one another.
