Herb Dearing, age 64, passed away at his home on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009. Born in San Antonio, TX, on October 10, 1944, he was the son of Herbert Grover Dearing and Fayna Jean Ketner Dearing. A resident of the Boerne area for more than 25 years, he had worked for the Havel Camera Service for over 43 years. He married Bobbie Case on August 14, 1965. For the last 3 years, he received great joy from playing music with the Blanco Canyon Group. Preceded in death by his son, Wade Dearing in 1990, his parents, and his Grandparents, Ross Edwin and Noba Ketner, who raised him due to his parents death when he was a child, Herb is survived by his wife, Bobbie; Son, Steve Dearing and his wife, M”Lissa; Granddaughter, Casey Penny.
