Herbert Danner, Jr., 90, Anderson, passed away January 13, 2011 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after an extended illness.
He was born October 30, 1920 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson all of his life. Herbert served his country in the US Navy as a Second Class Cook from 1942-1945 serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He retired as a Mold Maker in the tool room at Delco Remy Division of General Motors. Herbert was a member of the Anerican Legion and The UAW Local #662. He had been a member of Chesterfield Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife whom he married December 25, 1942, Patricia M. Hentgen Danner; children, Thomas H. Danner wife, Judy , Michael E. Danner wife, Cathy , Karen S. Vannatta and Patsy A. Danner all of Anderson; Robert A. Danner wife, Teresa of Alexandria; grandchildren; Traci, Tony, David, Jason, Eric, Amy, Amanda, Todd, Craig, Cory, Andrew, Chad, Elizabeth and Megan and Cody; Twenty great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert M. & Mildred K. Bronneberg Danner.
