Herbert “Herb” Dale Obenhaus, age 82, of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2022, after a decline in his health over the last 2 years. Herb was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on September 21, 1939, and lived in southeast Denver most of his life. Herb graduated from Cathedral High School in Denver in 1957 and from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1963. Herb was a self-employed handyman for 20+ years with a large group of devoted clients, many of them good friends. Herb always had a prank gift at the ready; he enjoyed camping, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. Herb is survived by his two sons, Tim and Dan; his sister, Carol; and his grandchildren, Zachary and Marion. Herb is preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Cecilia and his sister Patricia.
