Herb passed away January 10, 2022 at the age of 80 after suffering for several years with Lewy Body Dementia. He served in the US Air Force, stationed in Bangor, Maine, where he met and married his wife of 59 years, Bonnie (Violette). He retired in 1997 from GM and enjoyed many years of retirement. He is survived by his wife Bonnie, and their children, Steve (Adrian), Sherri (Mike) Stemple (Jasper), and Lorrie (Wade) Daughtry & his granddaughter Kiera (Hillsboro, OR), and his special fur kids, Bella and Sophie. Also surviving are his brother and sister in-law, Richard and Dottie Violette, his niece, Sue Lewis, and nephews Rick, David, and Dan Violette, and Richard, Dave, and Mike Cook. He was preceded by his parents Herbert and Margaret, his sister and brother in-law Shirley and Ed Martin, and stepsisters Geraldine Chapman and Lorraine Radant.
